Unspoiled Paradise and Craggy Coastlines

LoneCypress17-MileDr.jpg
Half way between San Francisco and San Louis Obispo is the beautiful Monterey County on the California Central Coast. Known for its great combination of mild weather and seemingly endless countryside, the Central Coast draws thousands of bicycling enthusiasts every year. Conde Nast Traveler calls it 'America's most breathtaking coast.' Author Henry Miller: "It was here in Big Sur I first learned to say 'Amen!'" Our vacation of this celebrated region follows the ruggedly scenic California Coast—sculpted by earthquakes, wind and ocean—to the dazzling Monterey Peninsula, sometimes called “the greatest meeting of land, sea and sky.” From there we'll head inland to tackle some of the hillier routes this spectacular area can dish up. Since it's a Multisport Vacation, there are miles of cycling – and plenty of hiking and kayaking - to be taken at your own pace and with our top-notch guides.
